Open Arms CLT was established in January of 2021, for the purpose of bringing people from all walks of life together, regardless of their background or past mistakes. Our desire is to be a church whose arms are always, open.
Meet Our Pastor
When you meet Justin, two things are evident; He loves God and he loves his family! Justin serves as the Lead Pastor of Open Arms CLT alongside his wife Kim, both of whom bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the ministry.
Justin, who earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Multi-Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University, led Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) small groups and was invited to be a guest speaker at the FCA National Leadership Camp.
Kim earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and Management from Howard University and a Master’s degree in Public Health and Epidemiology from Emory University.
Together they have four energetic young boys and recently opened a Famous Toastery in Uptown Charlotte. Prior to chasing after his 4 boys, Justin played as a Fullback for the Atlanta Falcons, Oakland Raiders, and Seattle Seahawks before going on to coach in the NFL for 4 years.
Justin currently serves as a board member for Bradford Preparatory School and has a genuine interest in serving his community in whatever way God see’s fit.

Open Arms CLT is a multiethnic, multi-campus, community-based church where people and families are free to experience the loving embrace of God. We are a Bible based church that believes not only in educating people on the word of God but also in guiding them on how to practically apply the word to their everyday lives. We believe that we are purposed to help build back the family, no matter how it may look, with Christ at the center.
